Pastoral and Congregational Coaching This ministry is in addition to our work of revival and motivational speaking. Dale says, “Coaching is a powerful tool to empower congregations and pastors to discover and maximize their potential.” Who needs a coach? Stuck pastors and churches Pastors that are new to “The Ministry” Pastors that are experiencing a disconnect between their education and their practice. Churches and pastors that need focusing of their vision and organization Pastors who need focusing of personal skills/work practices Pastors who need development of their people skills Churches in transition Pastors in transition What does a coach do? Actively Listens Incites personal awareness and responsibility Asks penetrating questions Helps client discover his/her own ideas Guides the client to specific measurable steps to success Facilitates accountability to the client’s goals What is it worth? To the lay person: It is better to build the pastor you have than replace him. Economically (moving cost and interviews) and emotionally (sense of failure). Coaching is a bargain. “Divorce is ugly and expensive.” To the pastor: What is it worth to have a safe confidential ally to help you achieve peak performance in ministry What is it worth to see the mission and vision of your church reborn? Why and What does it cost? Your initial consultation is free of charge! It costs because that is part of the accountability and motivation to get moving. The cost will always take into consideration: Dale’s logged coaching hours as he completes the ICF certification process. The financial capability of the church as Dale has a heart for the local church. Why should Dale Freed be your coach?
