January Prayerletter
Dear Praying Friends,
Happy New Year! I know I am about three weeks late with my greeting but we have had
a very busy new year. January 8th I spoke at the Gaylord Church of the Nazarene for
Pastor Mark Hoult. We had a wonderful time, but had to hurry back home. As I told you
last month that we were planning to attend the Prayer Convocation in Tulsa Oklahoma
this month, so, on Sunday after returning from Gaylord, seven of us from northern
Michigan piled into a van for the sixteen hour trek. As Dan Bohi led us; we confessed,
repented, believed and received a mighty outpouring of God’s power. Some two
hundred and fifty people had gathered for nothing but prayer and waiting on God for a
renewal of His Church. I cannot begin to tell you all of the work that God did in the three
days we were together in Tulsa. It was absolutely miraculous. As I was waiting before
the Lord in prayer during one session, God showed me how isolated I had become in
my work. (It is a common trap for evangelists). I wrote down the steps I needed to take
to break free. I stood before the conference, confessed my need and knelt to pray.
Many people surrounded me in prayer. When they were done praying, I looked up and
there was only one man left with me. He put out his hand and said, “Hi Dale, my name is
Doug, and if you would have me, I would love to be your friend.” God knew that those
were the exact words I needed to hear at that moment to confirm that He had heard my
cry and had set me free! What joy and freedom. Every person in our group from
Michigan found a new power and answers for the needs in their life.
Thank you to those who sent gifts to make this conference possible. By your
faithfulness, you have made a significant investment in this ministry.
We left Tulsa on Thursday night, drove all night and arrived back home Friday
afternoon. Friday night, I began a Revival at my home Church in Cadillac, MI. (Are you
seeing how exhausted we would be?)
We saw God do wonderful work in every service as the Lord provided the strength. On
Sunday morning, many people came forward to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. One
lady later told how as she stood there and while we prayed she felt hot breath on her
cheek. When she looked to see who was there she realized there was no one and God
had touched her. She went home to find God had done a miracle in her home. She was
filled with Joy!
We will be at the Bay City Wesleyan Church on Sunday January 29th. I will be speaking
on Christian dating. I look forward to sharing on this challenging topic in this day and
age.
Please pray for the Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene in Jacksonville Florida. We
begin services there on February 5th. Pastor Richard Wood and his people are praying
for a fresh wind of the Spirit to awaken them.
We have many exciting opportunities for ministry in the year ahead, please keep
praying for us. We depend on you.

December 2011 Prayerletter
Dear Praying Friends
Happy Holidays! I am sure you are all fully immersed in the Christmas rush. Thank you
for taking a couple minutes to catch up with Dale Freed Ministry.
As many of you know, on Wednesday November 23rd, The day before Thanksgiving, I
had Extensive hernia surgery in Cadillac, MI. (There, now we’re past the embarrassing
part). We are two weeks out and I am overwhelmed with God’s amazing power to heal
the human body. I’m still sore but improving every day.
We held two anointed revivals in November. First, The Rock Church of the Nazarene, in
Lake Ann, MI, with pastor Damon Carpenter, and secondly at Faith Community
Nazarene in Buckley , MI with Pastors Darold and Patty Ward. Pastor Darold and his
people had faithfully prayed for weeks and God moved on hearts in mighty power. What
a joy to hear testimonies of victory and deliverance.
2012 Photo Calendars
Again this year, Marilyn and I have compiled a beautiful calendar using photos we have
taken throughout the year in our travels. Each month is another delicious dish of visual
delight. We produce these calendars as a way to say thank you to those who stand with
us financially. If you would like a calendar to brighten your home, just call, mail or email
your request and we will get it right out to you. Your gifts are truly appreciated at the
end of the year as we strive to end the year in the black. Many of the churches that
need our ministry of hope and encouragement the most, can least afford it. Gifts from
friends like you make it possible for us to go to them on strictly a “love offering” basis.
Here’s how to order:

Holy Prayer Convocation:
As I shared with you last month, In January I am attending a prayer convocation in Tulsa
OK. Three days of fasting and prayer. We need and long to clearly hear the voice of
God, so that we can walk in the way that will bring the revival to our families, our
churches and our nation that we so desperately need!
I feel strongly that I am to be at this meeting. I believe it is critical to the future of this
ministry. Unlike many pastors, I do not have a congregation to pay for this trip. It needs
to come from the generous people like you who support this ministry. If you would like to
make a special gift for this purpose, it would be deeply appreciated. Please mark your
gift for “Prayer Conference”
Once again I would like to remind pastors and all readers that DFM is an affiliate of

November 2011 Prayerletter
Dear Friends,
I am writing from beautiful Lake Ann Michigan. We are at “The Rock”, a
Nazarene Church. Pastor Damon & Jamie Carpenter are faithful servants doing
a good work here in Northwest MI. I will be here through Wed. November 9. If you
get this before then, please remember this Church in your prayers. God is
working, but they have been battling through serious challenges at this young
Church. My next meeting is in Buckley MI beginning November 17 -20. This is a
Thursday through Sunday. Pray for Pastors Darold and Patty Ward. As they
prepare for this powerful time together.
Health Update: Many of you have expressed concern and have prayed for my
health issues I mentioned last month. It is a bit embarrassing, but on November
23, I will be having surgery for hernia repair. Yes, that is the day before
Thanksgiving! I This is a bit more serious, as the Doctor says it will be an hour
and a half operation rather than the normal 45 minutes. I appreciate your
continued prayers.
Holy Convocation: My friend Dan Bohi has put together a three-day convocation
in January for the leadership of the Nazarene Church. We will come together for
fasting and prayer. We need and long to clearly hear the voice of God, so that we
can walk in the way that will bring the revival to our families, our churches and our
nation that we so desperately need!
This convocation will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma January 10-12. I feel strongly that I
am to be there for that meeting. I believe it is critical to the future of this ministry.
Unlike many pastors, I do not have a congregation to pay for this trip. It needs to
come from the generous people like you who support this ministry. If you would
like to make a special gift for this purpose, it would be deeply appreciated. You
can send your tax deductible gifts to
Dale Freed Ministry,
P.O. Box 404
Tustin, MI 49688.
Please designate if this gift is toward the “Holy Convocation”. You may also go
online to www.dalefreed.com and click on the “Donate Now Button on the
opening page to use Paypal.
Wall calendars: Our 2012 Dale Freed Ministry wall calendars will be available in
just a few days. Marilyn and I take these pictures throughout the year and each
year this calendar is unique and beautiful. Our cost to produce and ship these
calendars is $12.00; so, for any gift of $12 or more to help us with the ongoing
work of evangelism we will send one to you. We are in the business of
encouraging the local church with a Biblical message of hope and Holiness.
Many of the most discouraged churches are the ones who lack the financial
resources to have us come. Your generous gift helps us to say “Yes!” to whatever
Church may call on us to serve.
Thank you now for your continued prayers and support. We continue to live in the
center of God’s wonderful presence. Lives are being impacted by God’s
powerful Word.
Thank You,
Dale & Marilyn
October Prayerletter
Dear Praying Friends,
We are celebrating tremendous victories this fall. God has been moving in every
meeting. Last week I was at the Wesleyan Men’s retreat in Hastings MI. A young
man named Mike was there. He had recently gotten out of prison. His step dad
brought him with him to the retreat. Things were not going well for Mike. Jobless,
homeless and angry, he came against his will. By the end of the weekend Mike
was on fire with the love of Jesus. He testified to the group that he had never felt
such love. On Sunday morning, the guys took up an offering and sent Mike off, full
of love and some money in his pocket to get started. I didn’t know they were
going to collect money for mike, and they didn’t know I was going to speak from
Mark chapter two, where four friends carry a man to Jesus and have to be
creative enough to cut a hole through the roof to get him to Jesus. Mike was truly
the Guy in need of some friends and these men truly showed Christ’s love.
At our revival in Port Huron Mi we saw about 200 people respond to the
invitation to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Every service was graced by the
powerful sweet presence of the Holy Spirit. God is powerfully using Pastor David
Mercer and his staff at Hillside Wesleyan. I am believing God to continue the
good work that He has begun.
During my two week break between meetings I was able to find a good used
wood burning stove and install it in our home. This will make life much warmer
during the cold north Michigan winter.
Pray for:
We appreciate your continued prayers for us. I (Dale) have been having some
physical difficulties and would appreciate your prayers for God’s healing touch.

September 2011
Dear Friends
We are in Beautiful Western New York this week. We just completed a weekend
of services with Christ’s Chapel Wesleyan of Silver Creek and Forestville
Wesleyan. These two churches came together at the local High School
auditorium. Sunday night included a special 9/11 memorial and a tribute to local
firefighters and EMTs. These churches took a love offering for the fire
department! (Very cool) .
Here is a testimony from a twelve year old that was at the Forestville/Silver
Creek Revival.
“My church was holding revival services and, of course, I had to go. Pastor freed
was speaking. Little did I know, it would alter my reality. He started talking about
“Church People” and how they were in church every time the doors were open
and it really got my attention. He talked about how as a teenager he lived a
double life, and that’s what I had been doing. I was a completely different person
in school. I had a bad attitude to others. It was like each set of clothes had a
personality different from one another.
When pastor Freed gave that altar call, it was like my feet were made of lead. I
thought, “I don’t have to go up, I can just do it in my heart.” But it wouldn’t be the
same. If I didn’t have the grit to go up front in front of a couple of people, I wouldn’
t be able to do anything in this world.
“Mom, can you go up with me?”I said. She was more than happy. That night, I got
completely “IN”. The feelings I had were astounding. I was impenetrable and
unstoppable. It was like light was pouring through my heart and out of my
fingertips. Nothing could take this feeling away. All I could do was praise God
and let tears run down my face. How could anyone be against this or choose not
to have it. I was the Pastor’s kid who did all of the right things, but now I am free
of my image and live for God’s.
Joshua
Request: Please pray for the Orchard Park Wesleyan church. We began
services t yesterday, Sunday, September 18. Pastor Todd Glendenning and his
people had prayed for twenty four hours on behalf of these services. Please join
them. We are asking God to move in real power. We had wonderful services on
Sunday with many people responding to the invitation. PTL!
God Bless You for your faithful support and prayers,
Dale & Marilyn Freed
August 2011
We are rejoicing in the Lord! We completed a wonderful seven day revival at the
Church of the Nazarene in Mattoon Wisconsin. Think of this, a series of services,
in July, for seven days! I don’t know any pastors willing to even try that any time of
year, let alone summer. It was amazing. We had strong attendance for every
service. On the last night, (Saturday) I asked how many had been there for every
service and the response was well over 75% of the crowd. We saw God move in
every service, with people seeking the filling of the Holy Spirit and healing for
their wounded lives. Pastor Mark Quinn said his board had prayed and knew this
was the time and they needed this work of God.
Schedule:
Something new this year, we will be having our annual Gathering of Nazarene
Evangelists over the Labor Day Weekend (instead of December in Indiana) at
Indian Lake Camp in Vicksburg, MI. I will be singing in the Sunday afternoon
concert of song evangelists. It is open to everyone and we’d love to have you
come if you are in the area.
September: 3-5 Evangelists Gathering
9-11 – Forestville NY area wide Crusade / Pastor Bruce Ellis
18-21- Orchard Park Wesleyan /Pastor Todd Glendenning
October: 2-5 Hillside Wesleyan, Port Huron, MI /Pastor David Mercer
7-9 West MI Wesleyan Men’s Retreat, Hastings, MI
November 6-9 “The Rock” Nazarene, Lake Ann MI. / Pastor Damon Carpenter
17-20 Faith Community Nazarene, Buckley, MI.
Pastors Darold & Patty Ward
We have several other meetings this fall waiting for confirmation. We will update
the schedule on our website as they confirm.
We are spending the month of August in preparation for the coming year. We
are making contacts to fill our schedule and developing new messages.
Thank you for your continued prayers for this ministry. We are truly seeing God’s
power at work in every meeting. We truly are watching God give true power and
blessing to the churches and camps where we are ministering. He is always
faithful!
God Bless You,
Dale & Marilyn Freed
July 2011
We just completed a week of God’s richest blessings. Wesleyan Woods Camp
in Vassar MI was the site for East Michigan Wesleyan Camp meeting 2011. I
will admit, I was a little nervous, this was where I attended camp while I pastored
in that district of the Wesleyan Church. It took only moments to realize that I was
among friends who wanted only the best for us during our time together. I also
knew that you had been praying for me. All anxiety melted away and confident
anointing filled the void. We saw God move on hearts in every service. There
were many seeking the power and purity of the Holy Spirit and healing for their
wounded lives. Their lives will never be the same.
Andy wrote to me…”
Dear Pastor Dale,
I want to personally thank for the awesome sermons at family camp this past
week, all messages seem to come from your heart through scripture and they
were meant for me as they all impacted me in a lot of ways, The biggest thing
you taught me this past week is it is ok for Andy to be Andy all the time and there
is no reason for me to worry about what others think of me as a Christian, and to
get free from the extra stuff I don’t need in my life. I needed this, and you really
helped me to get back in line. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
Andy
On Friday night we closed with a message of healing from I Chronicles 4. The
front of the auditorium was filled with people who found peace from their torment
and hope for their future. We praise God for the Godly leadership Rev. Richard
Meeks, D.S. gave to this camp. He and his lovely wife Crystal had prayed for
weeks for the power of God to fall, and God truly answered. We are excited that
we will be back at Wesleyan Woods in Vassar next summer to pick up where we
left off.
We are headed to Mattoon Illinois. We begin a seven day meeting, beginning on
July 24th. Please pray for Pastor Mark Quinn and the people of Mattoon Church
of the Nazarene.
Finally, thank you again for your faithful prayers for Dale Freed Ministry. God is
faithfully meeting all of our needs because of people just like you. Never
underestimate the power of your prayers. We are privileged to be able to
depend on your prayer support.
Still in the Fight,
Dale & Marilyn Freed
May/June 2011
Dear Friends
I just got home from another trip where God worked in wonderful ways. I went to
Wellsville New York where Pastor Robin George just reported that God is still at
work in revival power. Many claimed, by faith, the blessing of entire
sanctification. What a blessing to see young people sincerely surrendering their
lives to Christ. Pastor George wrote to me saying…
”Lives have definitely been touched and changed. To God be all the glory. A
powerful infilling of the Spirit has brought at least one of the teens into a Thank
you for your faithfulness to God and his Word. Continue in your prayers for us; the
best is yet to come!”
Every church we have been to this spring has had similar stories to tell. God is
doing a new thing through our ministry and we are giving Him all the glory.
Thanks to supporters like you, we went to the East Leon Wesleyan Church while
we were in NY. Finishing in Wellsville Wednesday night we started the next night
in East Leon. This is a very small church and your financial support makes it
possible for us to go places like this. We saw a tremendous work of God in east
Leon. Pastor Allen Chaser had done a great job of planning and advertising.
We saw several men making fresh strong commitments to holy living.
We will be speaking at the East Michigan Wesleyan camp over the week of the
4th of July. July 3 through 8 are the dates. We will be in Vassar MI at Wesleyan
Woods camp. We would love to have you come.
Gotta run…
Thanks Again,
April 2011
Dear Praying Friends,
I am home in Michigan today and anticipating heading to Pennsylvania this
weekend. Thank you for all of your prayers we have traveled safely and preached
with fresh anointing. I spent three weeks on the road and it was sure nice to get
back to Marilyn.
Here is a testimony from the pastor of a church we were at recently. In each
church we saw God do a wonderful work. It always takes people getting before
God with a hunger and crying out from their desperate state. God always hears
the honest cries of his children.
Rev. Dale Freed was in Charles City holding services at First Wesleyan Church
on March 27-30. The messages were very timely and challenged all of us to a
deeper commitment to Christ and a hunger for the spirit-filled life. The Holy Spirit
showed up in a mighty way with many people seeking God for help and a fresh
touch of His power and glory. I personally praise God for the work He did in my
heart and life during the services! I believe our church will move forward in the
power of the Holy Spirit and be of greater impact and effectiveness now that
several members of the church leadership team have received a fresh anointing.
Brother Dale has a sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit and an ability to
discern the congregational needs and issues. He is warm and engaging in his
interaction with people yet he has the ability to be very direct and calls
individuals to a point of decision
In Christ,
Pastor Dennis Bachman - First Wesleyan Church - Charles City, IA
I just received a call from Pastor Dan Shipton from Clifton, IL. He was extremely
excited about the work God is doing in his church. He is seeing wonderful
spiritual victories in his own life and the people of his church. He says our
meeting was a divine appointment.
Not one of the three churches I was in this last month could really afford the
financial expense of a revival, but they couldn’t afford to miss it either. I
appreciate the faithful support of people just like you who help underwrite the
cost when a small church is unable to cover all that it costs us to be there for
them. We will be in a small church in New York in May that again, desperately
needs to see a fresh move of God but do not have the resources to cover all the
costs. Thank you for your continued support.
I’ve also enclosed a copy of a poem I came across recently that I found very
inspiring. I pray that you will have a blessed and powerful Easter as we celebrate
Christ’s resurrection. It is amazing to read in Ephesians 1 that the power that
raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that he wants to put to work in
your life and mine.
In Christ’s Service
Dale & Marilyn Freed
February 2011
Dear Friends,
We are excited about the opportunities God is opening for us. We will be at First Missionary
Church in Clarkston MI beginning This Sunday, February 20. This is a church with a group of men
that have committed to fast and pray for a true revival. I am asking you as prayer partners to join
us in prayer for a great moving of the Holy Spirit. We would love to see the miracle of lives set free
from bondage and hearts purified by the filling of the Holy Spirit.
In March we will be heading to Iowa for meetings in Cedar Falls and Charles City. We begin the
month of April in Illinois.
During the recent weeks, we have been doing pulpit supply for several area churches. Every
Wednesday I am teaching a class for a local Nazarene Church called “The word on The Word.” I
am excited about this class. I am teaching the very basics about how to study the Bible.
• 5 things to love about the Bible.
• 10 ways to read the Bible.
• 6 questions to ask about a scripture.
• How to memorize scripture.
• How to lead a Bible study without fear.
We are having a blast watching brand new Christians and folks who have been Christians for
many years find life in the scriptures. I had felt God leading me to provide this class for the church
in early January and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The look in their eyes when eureka happens is
priceless. With techniques for studying the Word, we hear thing like “let’s get together and study
a passage!” It used to be “Let’s play a hand of cards.” Gods Word is alive and active. Where there
was once frustration and discouragement with trying to understand the Bible, there is now
irrepressible zeal.
We are making this class available to local churches as a weekend event. The class is done on a
Friday night and Saturday. We would love to come and teach at your church.
We are also excited that we just scheduled the East Michigan Wesleyan Camp meeting for this
summer at Wesleyan Woods Camp in Vassar, MI. This was our home camp when we pastured in
Flint and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to go back as their evangelist. Pray for a powerful
anointing during the week of July 3-8.
Marilyn and I are spiritually thriving this winter. God has filled us with such freedom, joy and
anticipation we can hardly contain our selves. We shovel and sing and then shovel and sing some
more. There is such joy in doing life and ministry God’s way. We are “faithers” living on the “one
day plan”.
Thank You again for your continued prayers for us. We live in the realm of the impossible and god
meets every one of our needs. Thank you to each of you who have obeyed the prompting of the
Holy Spirit to support us financially. You have truly been a blessing.
God Bless You,
Dale & Marilyn
